Composer
In addition to working as a pianist and musical director, Darren also composes music for theatre.
Since 2003 he has composed incidental music and songs for productions of Jane Eyre, After Juliet and Twelfth Night. He has also written a musical for youth theatre companies, Frankenstein's Legacy, and composed a number of songs for a new musical, Past Vows.
Most recently, Darren was commissioned to compose incidental music for a
stage dramatisation of a Tim Burton poem, The Melancholy Death of Oyster
Boy.
